I bought xplane 11 v11.01r how do i upgrade ?

Question

I bought xplane 11 back in may 2017. How do I upgrade from xplane 11.01r to version 11.02 that I see is out  ? I don't see an option when I start xplane 11

11.02 is still in beta, so it is only available if you have used the installer to update and checked the box to "get betas." It is fairly stable as it is a minor patch and not a major version update (like 11.10 will be) but here are some old but good tips on using betas.
