I get NOT IN DATABASE message when creating a flight plan. Do I need to download NAVDATA?

Hi,
The navdata included in X-plane is not the latest one. If you want to update it, you will need to buy an AIRAC cycle on navigraph and install the appropriate unzipped file in X-plane 11 custom navdata folder. You will find a txt file for help in that folder.
