Is a controller compatible for the iPad version

Question

i have the thrust master joystick, I want to know if I get an adaptor for it and wire it up on my iPad can I use it to fly on x plane 10 for the iPad?

As far as I know, only the Nvidia shield controller is compatible with X-Plane 10 mobile app.
