Hi

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KZRl_KMaCM

Watch at 0:15 and 0:29

It's only when I get closer to Manhattan that the city lights in the background start to be visible.

What can I do in the Settings to make them visible earlier?

3.4 Ghz Intel iCore i7 with 16 Gb of RAM.

Thank you

Good question,

I know what you mean and its kinda annoying. I have an i7-7700k OC @ 5.0GHz also have 16GB DDR4 RAM and an 8GB variant of the RX480 and have all my graphical settings turned to max and still have this problem in densely populated areas.

Also only push about 25FPS.

To me it looked like there were some lights, but more popped in as you got closer. It's possible this is the sim "catching up" if it is behind in rendering scenery. You can diagnose this by pausing the sim and seeing if things keep showing up. If the popping stops it's a real bug with camera positions and what-not.

Many rendering changes are coming in 11.10 so it could fix some issues with scenery load and scheduling if that appears to be the issue.

In Replay mode, when I go back, lights turn off. When I move forward, they turn on.
