conflict between the mouse and the "+" sign

hi,

when I am using auto pilot with the 738, some buttons have a conflict with the "+" clickable region 

example:

auto pilot engaged then I press level change and instead of having level change the square around the"+" activates and the auto pilot goes off

any way to avoid this? 

Note: I am using mouse currently to fly.

1. Position the view so that the + sign and the square are not overlapping the buttons. So, prepare a view so that it does not happen.
2. Press Ctrl-1 for instance, the 1 on the numeric pad.
3. Then each time you press on the 1 on the numeric pad, you'll have that view that you have optimized.
