I need help with calibrating my joystick/mouse

Question

All of a sudden something has happened with being able to control the plane whether its with the mouse or joystick. I need help figuring out how to get the "mouse steer" box back in the middle of my screen. Ive tried everything i can think of. please help

I think, and I might be wrong, that mouse steer appears when there's no joystick/axis assigned to roll and pitch commands.
