Why does my x plane keep 'quitting unexpectedly' each time i start it up?

i recently tried to delete xplane from my computer and reinstall however it didnt work so i just repaired it and it seemed to work however now whenever i try to go on it it just comes up with an error message saying quit unexpectedly. I am using an iMac

Hi Haximas,

That's kind of vague, and it sounds like a lot of things could have gone wrong. The first thing you should try is moving your preferences folder to the desktop. It's in the Output folder. Try starting X-Plane again and it should regenerate that file with the defaults.
