iMac 27" Mid 2010, 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5, 12 GB DDR3, ATI Radeon HD 5750 1 GB.........

My expectations were low as all the requirements published stated that 19 or below fps would probably not work. After loading X-Plane 11 1 month ago I have all the settings at mid to moderate and have not experienced any studdering, slow-downs, or freeze-ups. I monitor the fps and have seen fps go as low as 8 and as high as 17. The scenery is quite nice as well with much detail.

Hi,

all the requirements published stated that 19 or below fps would probably not work

To me, Laminar Research mainly says that it works, but with flaws :

-Sim running slower than real time : Your flight will last 2 hours instead of 1.

-Erratic movements of small planes on the ground

-Brakes not efficient

Are the problems you are most likely to encounter and notice below 20fps.
