No Chrome graphics...why?

Question

When adding liveries, chrome is not appearing on any of my planes... none of them, so it's not a problem in the livery file, it's a problem in my x-plane 11 and I can't figure out why. Here's just one sample...what I should get, compared to what I'm getting. Plus a shot of my settings. Is there a keyboard key I might have hit that turns off chrome? I'm just grasping at straws here.

If you think something is wrong with your install, you can always run the installer and pick the update option to scan for missing or modified default files.

To determine if it's a problem with the default sim, you need to only use default aircraft/liveries/etc. Please try the default MD-80 with default livery to see if that has a reflection like you expect.
