I have transferred my x-plane program to my MacPro. My MacPro doesn't have a CD slot. How do I X-Plane run without the CD slot?

To ensure you do not get stuck in demo mode, you will need to purchase a new digital download version, or the USB dongle. You can find each of these products on the X-Plane Store.

If you can get hold of a Mac with a DVD drive use Disk Utility to create a DMG of DVD 1.

Copy this to a USB stick

Copy the DMG to your Mac

Use Automator to create an app which mounts the DMG then launches X Plane

Hope this helps
