My user interface size is missing

My user interface size (to change text size in the menus) was on the graphics screen at the bottom and I changed it to 100 percent.   When I went back to change it to a larger size, it was gone.   Tried to restart the program and selected several monitor resolutions and it still isn't showing!   Anyone know how to fix this?

Update - discovered something by myself.   If I go to the X-plane folder to the Output folder, and empty the Preferences folder, X-plane will reload with all the original settings.   In my case, the menus were returned to the original size and I was back in business.
