When choosing nickname the proram freezes

I set nickname  but when I tap next nothing happens.  Removed and reinstalled several times but no  change - my iPad works well otherwise. Thank hou

I'm not sure what problem you're having. We don't require you to set a nickname to use X-Plane for desktop or mobile devices. Are you trying to set up a Google Play or Game Center account? If so, we probably won't be able to help you with that here as this is for X-Plane specific help.
