Cessna 172 map npot working.

Question

My 172 in-cockpit map was working fine until an "update" 2 days ago.  Now when I hit the map button, the panel comes up but instead of a map it just flickers blue.  The panel itself looks fine but where the map is supposed to be is just a rapid flickering blue.  Suggestions?  Thanks

I do not see this issue. Is this the default C172? Try running the X-Plane installer again and picking "update" in case you are missing any default files. You can also try resetting your preferences to see if that helps: Move the preferences folder (found in the Output folder) to the desktop, then restart X‑Plane and default preferences will be restored. If the default preferences do not fix your problem, you can simply replace them with the folder you moved to the desktop and restore your personalized settings.
