Since you have mobile versions of X-Plane for iOS and Android, might there be a version forthcoming for Nintendo Switch?  That is my new go-to gaming device and with all the controls built into the joy-cons I would think that porting it from iOS or Android might be possible.  However, since I'm not a programmer, I really have no idea of how much work would be involved.  I would certainly buy a copy, and given the horrible reviews that the only current flight game is receiving I think there may be a large market of people like me ready to buy X-Plane on the Switch.

Super “yes please”. Right now Nintendo marketplace is fairly limited, especially limited with flight software. I and others I know download cheaper games just to try them out due to the limited availability. This would be a great opportunity for those who may not otherwise try out X-Plane to experience it. Phone App is fine however even joy cons and buttons would be great. Switch has gyro also. Also please add flight schools and challenges from app to pc version.

Thanks!

I had sent a direct e-mail and was told that they won't be developing it for a gaming device like the switch.  I was surprised because iOS is basically a gaming device when used for apps like X-Plane.  And the Switch certainly has the power and the controls to do a much better flight-sim than any iOS device I know of.  Maybe if we can get more x-planers who also own switches to comment here the developers would see there really is a marketplace for it.  The other so-called "flight" games on the switch are pathetic and are little more than video arcade wannabes.
