Would it be possible to start an aircraft on any part of the airfield map regardless of parking spots?

I fly out of Ogden (KOGD) and I find that there are very view spots to start from.  The usual place I start my Cessna in real life is not available on X-Plane 11.  to fix that, I just use the map and drag my aircraft to the correct position after I start the flight.  It seems meniscal, but I would like to see something in the future where I can just find a good starting location for my aircraft and go from there before I start any flight...

The fastest way to see a change like this would be to make it yourself with free World Editor. Add a parking spot (called a "ramp start" in WED) in the correct location. You can keep the modified scenery for your own purposes, but if you register as an artist on the Gateway you can submit your changes to possibly be included in a later update for everyone to benefit from.
