Looks like I'm not the only one getting crashes with the latest version of X Plane (11.20).  I'd been running fine with 11.11 for some time but to get the XP Gateway Scenery updates all in one place, I thought that an update would be good.

I didn't make a back of my installation before upgrading so a little stuck there.

Once I've figured out how to do it, I'll attached the log.txt file for cleverer people than me to try and figure out what might be happening.

I've had enough of trying to work with 11.20.  I haven't
made it through one flight (of 6) without it crashing
completely.

Can someone just repost a link to re-download 11.11.
That was solid.  I'm happy enough with this version.
Forget 11.20 for now.

A good place to look is at the preferences. Move the preferences folder (found in the Output folder) to the desktop, then restart X‑Plane and default preferences will be restored. If the default preferences do not fix your problem, you can simply replace them with the folder you moved to the desktop and restore your personalized settings.

The final common culprit is third party add ons, such as scenery and plugins. Try moving the Custom Scenery folder and plugins folders (found in the Resources folder) to the desktop, then restart X-Plane.

been trying all of those options over the last couple days, still no joy.  I just get the same problem.

Also tried re-installing from scratch this morning but getting a error message to say that the CDN can't be reached.

SIGH!
