Please help me! My x-plane installer keeps giving me this error...

i dont know whats happening and im getting really scared i wont be able to update x-plane. when i try to do anything on my x-plane installer except run x-plane (11.11) it says "there was a problem updating x-plane...(the technichal problem was: Error 5:20001)"

Make sure you are using the latest version of the installer from X-Plane.com. Double check that it has access through any firewalls. You will need to attach a copy of the installer log.txt for any further help as it will contain more info on the error.
