Basically my band width is not that fast, so in this situation I really need to use another type of installer because I can not use the whole band width during download. I can leave the download running during the night but during the day.

The only installer available at X-Plane.com is a stand alone installer. You download a zip file, unzip it, and then run the installer. You can run it whenever you want.
