Problem with Saitek X-52 joystick and throttle

I recently bought and installed X-Plane 11. I calibrated the joystick and throttle using the X-plane settings. However, when using the throttle, at some point as it moves it changes the view, the system goes haywire, and then starts to occillate. The view changes to the back seat or the wing or the sky. Can someone help?? Thanks.

It sounds like something else got assigned to it, that changes the view. First I'd try going to joystick settings & using the "reset to defaults" button. Then recalibrate the device and try it again.

You can temporarily reset to default prefs to see if that helps. Move the preferences folder (found in the Output folder) to the desktop, then restart X‑Plane and default preferences will be restored.

Lastly, check for any addons that may be interfering.
