What exactly is it that X-Plane is doing while paused that is causing all this CPU usage? From a a layman's perspective this simply doesn't make any sense. If there's a legitimate reason for using all the CPU while paused, could you please enlighten us on this? I can assure you that I've done my research and it is X-Plane that is doing the CPU hogging here, not some other process.

Running on a Mac, X-Plane 11.25.

Also, this isn't something that has emerged during the last update or something, and has instead been a feature as long as I've used v11.
