Planemaker trouble

Hi,

Today I bought the X-Plane 11 Digital version and I am having so much trouble with the planemaker. I am just trying to modify any aircraft (simple mods) and when I try to open it on X-Plane simulator it always displays the message saying that it's not possible to open because it is not an aircraft file or it is corrupted.

I used to work with the Planemaker of the XP10 or XP9 having no issues.

Is there anything wrong?

What aircraft are you trying to edit, specifically? If they are older, they might not work with X-Plane 11. There are newer requirements for some things, like GPS, etc.
