Will we be able to load old .sit files in the future?

Question

I have to book written by Bruce Williams and published by Wiley on Scenario Based Training with x-plane .sit files,

Wondering if you have plans to allow loading old .sit files.

The replay & situation file formats are very unstable in v10 unfortunately. We hope to keep them more stable in future versions so updating won't break your replays and situations, but right now, even updating between version of X-Plane 10 can make files recorded in older versions stop working. I do not know if they will ever be backwards compatible though.
