Is it possible to buy X-Plane license as a gift for someone else?

I would like to buy X-Plane license for a friend, as a birthday gift. Is that possible? I will pay, but the license should be registered to my friend's name/e-mail address.

I'm going to say "no", no readily apparent way to do that.  That's a nice thought though!!

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

Others before you have asked a very similar question.  This forum is not the location to solve your problem.  You need to ask the same question by making direct contact with Laminar Research by e-mail at [email protected] or call 913-269-0976 for support.

There is a hybrid version of X-Plane available which is not sold by Laminar Research.  Your recipient will appreciate the gift a lot more with the genuine article.
