No engine sound for any aircraft. How to fix?

Yesterday, I was playing x plane 11 then suddenly out of no where the sound just stopped coming out of the aircraft's engine. The aircraft's engine was still operating and XP Realistic was still working. I was thinking how I could fix this issue and I thought it wasn't me installing/uninstalling something unintentionally because it stopped making sound in-game. The thing is if it's not that then what is it??

Double check the sound settings first. Sometimes the box to enable sounds can be checked, but if all the sliders are full left, the sound doesn't work. I have no idea why this would happen in the middle of a flight though.
