I hope the devs read this forum:

I run X-Plane on Linux, installed on an EXT4 partitioned drive.  For VR, I use windows and mount the ext4 partition with "Paragon Linux File Systems for Windows".   This driver has a problem with the way X-Plane enumerates the contents of "Custom Scenery/" subfolder (and others), namely it looks like the filesystem driver cannot find the names of the subfolders, the Log.txt list of Custom Scenery lists all subfolders as "0 /   1 /  [...]  471 /" (i.e. it finds the correct amount, but not their names for some reason)  With WIndows Explorer the files on the ext4 volume are all accessible.  So X-Plane does folder enumeration differently than e.g. Windows explorer.

Paragon developers can reproduce the bug with the demo, but in order to help them fix it before the millennium is over, I wanted to ask if any of the developers can tell me what API calls the Windows version of X-Plane 11 uses to enumerate the names of the subfolders in Custom Scenery/.

Thank you!

( I don't use ext4fsd because it keeps destroying the ext4 volume, whereas Paragon does not).
