The Cessna 172 is the only aircraft I have flown since installing X-Plane 11 and it will not stay in trim, no matter how many times I set everything it veers up down  right or left, does anyone have an idea as to maybe my settings wrong or what?  thanks

Hi Bently and Mike,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

It is not a problem with the aircraft design.  Having followed the questions raised in this forum from the beginning I have never seen comments "bagging"  the Cessna design.

What hardware components are you using?

You need to delete any software that you have installed that was supplied with the components.  This is more relevant with Saitek (now Logitec) components.  When deleted, reconfigure and install your components through X-Plane.  No other way.

If not convinced have a look at the following link from Michael Brown.  His company specialises in building PCs predominantly for X-Plane.  The link can be found at  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU_TuALAlJk

Hope this helps

Glenn
