So I have the game on steam but my friend wants to buy the game via this g2a link!

Are both are games compatible for smartcopilot?

Hi! I would recommend that you do not purchase from G2A. I have heard many complaints that this site sells keys that were originally purchased with stolen credit cards. Hope this helps!

Hi Lars,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

If your friend wants to be "ripped off", duped, scammed then purchase from g2A.

Have a look at the following link at https://questions.x-plane.com/20112/do-not-buy-by-g2a  There are many others who have been caught in this scam.  Some have been successful in getting a refund, others haven't.

Tell your friend to purchase directly from Laminar Research and support the developers.  Don't buy a Steam version.  It is not sold by Laminar Research. If you want Steam the Laminar Research web site tells you to go elsewhere.  Don't waste your money. It is a third party product which in previous comments in this forum indicates any updates by Laminar Research are slow to flow through to the Steam users.
