New X-Plane update

Question

I just uninstalled and re-installed X-Plane 11 because I was having issues with joystick and install's of add on's. I noticed when I reinstalled I thought I would get the new update 11.30 but I noticed I still have 11.26 and I have the digital purchase through Laminer not Steam. Can someone tell me what to do to get the new upgrade?

go to xplane files and click on the installer and it will say update or check for updates or something like that if that doesn't work then you should contact laminar.

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

When you boot-up X-Plane there is/should be a tick-box(?) asking if you want to check for updates.  If it indicates there is an update then X-Plane (11.30) has been officially released.  Then download.

If you want to be involved with Beta then select the other option and download the beta version.  This is only recommended if you "know" what you are doing and have a "very sound knowledge" of the workings of X-Plane.

Otherwise be patient and continue with the current official release version (11.26) until 11.30 is officially released.
