Attempted to reinstall X-Plane 11 after factory resetting my PC.  I have windows 8.1 (64-Bit).  Four or five errors occurred during installation.   For example: "Error processing D:\X-Plane 11/Global Scenery/X-Plane 11 Global Scenery/Earth nav data/+30+050/+39+054.dsf: Permission denied. Perhaps you do not have access to a directory or file system.  You can continue with the installation and attempt to repair the damaged files later, or you can cancel the installation."

Each time I was confronted with these type of errors I elect to "continue" with the installation.   I return to the computer sometime after inserting DVD installation disc 8.  But, this time the installer has presented me with a failed installation - contact support.

Hi Matt - Thanks for your question! This sounds like a Properties/Permissions issue on your computer. Make sure that you have permission to "Read and Write" in the directory that you are trying to install to. Let me know if this fixes the problem! Thanks!
