Are Pilot and Co-pilot G1000 Seperate Instruments

Question

Are the Pilot and Copilot G1000 seperate Instruments for example can the Pilots PFD  show 1 CDI needle while the Co-pilot Can show another ?

Hi - I believe that they are meant to run in unison like in a real aircraft. What is your goal here? Thanks!

I was looking to use the thranda Kodiak with smart copilot a plugin which allows pilot & copilot Operations.

But when I push the CDI button on the pilot side this also changes the copilot side however using a datarefs & command tool only the command for gn1000n1 is being triggered.

The map inset is independent on each screen hence why I was thinking the CDI would be too.
