New dvd download does not have a windows.exe file to start

Question

X-plane 11 version 11.0.30.14. The files icon on the pc desktop does not have an "x-plane.exe" app on the list. Only a mac app. It won't load correctly. The Windows 10 desktop covers the x-plane view. What can I do?
