Since begin of this year I get the error "Couldn't connect to server" every time I want to update x-plane 11

Last year everything was fine. I use Win10. The installer app is v4.11r1. My internet connection has never changed. What can I do?

I'm just a fellow simmer in the UK, but I have exactly the same version of X-Plane Installer and have had no issues with downloading or updating X-Plane 11 files.

1. Please advise exactly when you get the message 'Couldn't connect to server', what were you doing just before this message came up?

2. Presumably you do not have any other hardware/software issues and that you are still able to download files from other sources perfectly well?

Hi,

I start the installer, click 'Update X-Plane', x-plane folder was found and I click continue. Then it takes a second before the message comes (see screenshot).

I have no other hw/sw installed and my internet connection is ok and I can download any file, even the x-plane installer from your webside.

1. What happens if you click on 'Update Scenery Online', do you get the same message?

2. Presumably you already have a copy of X-Plane 11 on your PC, if so which version and does it still run?

I don't understand it. I have changed nothing, but now everything works fine. I have the version 11.30 and there is no newer version for me. This version is still running all the time.
