I've got 2 K242HQL acer monitors and I want to know what the best setup would be so I could have the cockpit on both screens.

Hi Jack,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

What do you want to set up exactly with your two monitors.  One with "out of cockpit view" and the other just with console instruments?

The bottom line is you need to set them up within X-Plane.  Forget about any software supplied with your screens or your graphics card or even your operating system.

Have a look at the manual found here at https://x-plane.com/manuals/desktop/#configuringamulti-monitorsimulator

Also you may want to view some of the YouTube videos from Russ Barlow found at  https://www.youtube.com/user/srbarlow/videos   Russ deals with a lot of other info as well but he has 2 videos related to Multimonitor setup and 2 related to external views.  Although his videos relate to 3 or 4 monitors there is one video that shows and explains how to configure your screens within X-Plane.

Although I have presumed what your intention may be Russ may give you some other ideas on what to do.

Good luck

Glenn
