How do i give X-Plane 11 (That i already one) to a friend?

My brother wants to give away X-plane 11 to me so we are wondering how to do it? Is there anyone that could help

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK, but what version of X-Plane 11 does your brother have:-

a) Digital Download from LR's website

b) DVD set purchase from LR or...

c) Hybrid copy of X-Plane 11 from Steam?
