How do I update the program?

I haven't updated in a while. I can't find where I go to update. I've checked for updates in the forum and in the manual but can't find how to update the latest version?

Hi Fishcan01,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from downunder.

The process is quite simple.

On the basis you are not running a steam version, as you start X-Plane and before you start "saved flights" or "creating a new flight" there should be an automatic prompt on screen asking if you want to check for updates or the advice will be that an update is available.  Your response should be yes or tick the box.

You can also run X-Plane 11 Installer.exe and then select Update X-Plane.
