Can't change camera perspective

Question

Hey :)

I'am new in x-planes and have one major issue. I'cant change the camera mode or use a "free view" inside the cockpit. If I select an other camera mode via menu or shortcut nothing happens.

Hi Sebastian,

If none of the views in the menu or any of the keyboard short cuts are working, it might be a problem with your preferences. Go to Output -> Preferences and move the file X-Plane Keys.prf to the desktop. Restart X-Plane and see if the default key preferences are back (try pressing c for free camera mode, or shift + 6 for chase view).
