This error occurs for each instance of starting X-Plane 11.

OS is Linux Mint 19.1; nVidia GeForce GTX 1070 (driver nvidia-driver-418.56) ; CPU=Ryzen 7 2700X; RAM=64 Gb

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from downunder.

As you are having problems when starting X-Plane my initial response is:-  Are you running your system as the administrator and have you deactivated your antivirus system.

Are you running X-Plane as a digital download?  If so you need to be connected to the internet at all times when running or trying to run X-Plane.  If it is a disc version then you need to have dvd 1 in your disc drive at all times

Please attach your log.txt file for others with a greater knowledge base than me may be able to determine your problem.  Make sure it is not the "installer log.txt" file

I'm not with Laminar Research either, just another simmer in the UK and please initially following the advice given by my colleague Glenn from downunder.

On face value, your PC spec's look more than adequate and with 64GB of RAM and 6GB of VRAM, so the Mem file error. Err=19 is not something that you would normally expect to see.

However, there is still a possibility that a hardware defect could exist, so it may be wise to check the RAM memory with MemTest86 or similar. Please see following link for more guidance on how to use MemTest86 with Linux:- https://www.memtest86.com/technical.htm
