x-plane 10 does not find my aircraft controls on my Mac

Question

Program installed and works.  I have verified that my Mac recognizes my yoke controller.  When I go into settings and try to configure the controls, nothing happens.  Not one switch, button, control is recognized by X-plane.
Any assistance is appreciated!

You don't mention what yoke you have, but try plugging it in after you start X-Plane and see if that helps. I've also heard some controls have issues when plugged into USB hubs instead of directly into the computer, or if they're used with a USB 3.0 driver.
