When I try to do the setup for X-plane 11. it says "there was a problem installing X plane 11 demo. please check your internet connection and try again."

so I did so but it kept showing that even though my internet is fine.

if you don't mind trying to fix/help my issue that would be great, Thanks

Hi X-Flyer321,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from down under.

A few questions first:-

  1.   Have you disabled, as a temporary nature, your antivirus and malware software during the installation?   This is sometimes a problem depending on your protection software being used; and or
  2.   Do you have administrator rights?  This is also a problem at times; and or
  3.   Does your PC meet the minimum, preferably the recommended system requirements?  These details can be found at https://www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-system-requirements/  Until Vulkan is implemented (?) within X-Plane NVidia GPUs and intel CPUs will give you better performance.

If your system is crashing during the installation process it may be prudent to attach your X-Plane Installation Log.txt file rather than the standard Log.txt file so that others with a greater knowledge base than me may be able to "spot the problem"

To attach the file, follow the guidelines produced by greengolfer15 found at https://questions.x-plane.com/?qa=blob&qa_blobid=17830136656522860642
