Installed Mooney M20R shows on Flt Config and loads on Rnwy but won't allow key entry. What's wrong?

I downloaded Addon Mooney M20R from Carenado. Loaded in the X-Plane 11 Aircraft File and it shows up on the Flight Configuration page and after selecting New Flight it shows up at the selected airport on the screen. It has a Dialog Box requesting the Key, but will only allow one letter of the key to be entered then freezes. What is the corrective action I should take?

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from down under.

As you have purchased a 3rd party addon I suggest you make contact with the developer of the product to resolve your problem.
