Hi mikealpha,
I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from down under.
My immediate reaction to your problem is you have not configured your hardware through X-Plane. Have a look at the following link found at https://www.x-plane.com/kb/configuring-flight-controls/ Alternatively use Dr Google for a topic search of configuring hardware within X-Plane You should also have a look at the Manual found at https://www.x-plane.com/manuals/desktop/
Your question above has been raised through the Laminar Research website of www.x-plane.com
The Cessna 207 is not a standard set of default aircraft supplied with the X-Plane 'flight sim' software but a third party add-on as you have indicated.
You will not get an answer from Laminar Research but I will direct you to where you should get an answer to your problem.
If you were to get an answer from Laminar, the standard answer you would receive, as others like you have received is:-
- You have purchased a 3rd party add-on aircraft;
- Laminar Research does not sell 3rd party add-on aircraft;
- You need to contact the reseller or the developer of the aircraft to solve your problem.
There is a website store that deals only in products specifically for X-Plane. That store is through www.XPLANE.ORG My presumption is this was the site you purchased from.
This "store" is an independent business and has no connection with Laminar Research.
If your hardware has been configured through X-Plane then my suggestion is to contact the reseller or developer to find a solution to your problem . At the same time have a "good" search of their forum site where you may find a solution to your problem. There is a lot of "other" good information available in this forum as well.
Good luck.
Glenn
