Using the Garmin 430 GPS

Question

I'm a first time user of x-plane.  I wanted to fly directly to a certain airport so I pressed that D button on the GPS and it pops up a new interface for the GPS.  I can figure out how to use the controls to make my selections okay.  My question is how do I close the GPS interface?  There's no X to click and close and pressing that D button again doesn't help either.  Also, are there any video tutorials(missions) for first time users rather than reading the manual?

Good to hear you've already resolved this, but I'll answer it just in case someone else has a problem.

Click on the GPS in the dash to open the larger, moveable window. Click on the panel GPS again to close it.

There are many GPS tutorials out there by X-Plane users. A quick online search should turn some up.
