x-plane 10 not loading in Linux Mint 17.3

I am wanting to install x-plane 10 on Linux Mint 17.3.  Disc #1 loads just fine and then...nothing.  It appears that Mint does not recognize dvd 2-8.  What do you recommend?

Things to double check for Linux:

  1. Make sure you're using the latest installer available here. 
  2. Make sure you're not using open-source graphic card drivers.
  3. Install to the desktop.
Otherwise please attach a copy of your installer log.txt file found on the desktop.
