I am new to X-Plane and downloaded the demo version. Now have questions.

Question

I cannot see enough land/scenery over the cowling. Will the view improve with the upgraded version?

I have purchased Saitek yoke, quadrant system and rudder pedals. Do I need the upgraded version for these to function properly?

Go to the Rendering options and try adjusting the lateral field of view, found near the bottom center of the screen in the section of the window labeled “Special Viewing Options.” You can adjust the other settings in that box and that might help too.

Purchasing the full sim will not change anything with the view. The only things that change with purchase is the time limit is removed, and you can install scenery for the whole world.
