How to get & install plugins?

Question

I am not at all familiar with plugins.  How do I get, install & use the plugins for the Saitek panels?  I want to use my Multi & Switch panels.

Using plugins with the X-Plane 11 Beta can yield unpredictable results; in X-Plane 10, simply go to the main folder, then "Resources", then "Plugins", and put the extracted plugin/file in the "Plugins" folder.

I think many of the plugins that work with X-Plane 10 will work with X-Plane 11 as Laminar did not really change the SDK that is used to create plugins. You can check here to see what experience people have been having. So far the news is pretty good.
