SOLVED: (It was a IPS issue)

When I try to install X-Plane 11b, I get this error:

There was a problem installing X-Plane 11. Please check your internet connection and try again, or contact Laminar Research tech support at [email protected] form help.

(The technical problem was: Couldn't resolve host name)

I use macOS Sierra on my MacBook Pro and my Internet connection is OK.

Thanks

JCCC

Is this issue recurring?

Yes, I still can't install it!

I tried the demo, reset modem-router, reset dns cache, etc.
I think it can't contact the "Highwinds CDN" servers.

* Closing connection 3

* Hostname was NOT found in DNS cache

* getaddrinfo(3) failed for cds.r8z5m7k4.ssl.hwcdn.net:80

* Couldn't resolve host 'cds.r8z5m7k4.ssl.hwcdn.net'

* Closing connection 4
