missing scenery in X-plane 11

Question

When going flying into and out of certain airports the whole airport environment is missing. When going into airports   Such as KJFK,KDFW,KLAS the whole scenery is not there.

My guess would be the installer didn't download that file (most likely reason: time out). Unfortunately the current installer has a bug if you have a good deal of scenery installed it doesn't progress past the scan step. We're working on a fixed installer and hope to have it out soon. Then you can try reinstalling the scenery you are missing.

Same problem here. I'm missing EGLL and EIDW. From EGLC to the East everything seems to be fine but to the west some files are missing.

The installer doesn't show any problem.

What I did to solve my issue was to uninstall the scenery. In my case it was Europe, then I reinstall it. Now I have Dublin and London back, but there is always the possibility that other areas are missing because the installer didn't confirm a correct installation due to my poor internet connection. I hope there is the option to download the scenery files from a torrent in the future.

I have tried removing and reinstalling scenery. Yesterday I got beta7, It installed a new setup program and downloaded more than expected but still missing default airports that i had under XP10.

I am very new with x plane, but I am trying to learn fast. Last time, I forgot to say that I also avoided installing a lot of scenery due to my poor internet connection. Maybe if you delete all the scenery and try to re-install it little by little it could work. In my case I had the airports but I didn't have the scenery. In yours I think it's the opposite. I read on the forums that it is very important to check that everything is OK in the scenery_packs.ini file.

Finally If the problem is the airports you can find thousands of good quality airports for free at x-plane.org

For the few I use often I have added custom airports from the gateway. But it is a bug that needs to get fixed asap. Now I need to disable the airports after en update to check if it works. And I really do not want to add all airports as custom.

I know the airports from xp10 are not fully compatible with all features , but at least better than airports without terminals...

Also maybe people that just have xp11 would upgrade the default airports..
