DC-10, How to keep the refuel boom retracted? Auto extends when landing gear retract... Don't want that.

Question

Can anyone tell me how to keep the refuel boom in the retracted position at all times? It automatically deploys when the landing gear are retracted? Would like to fly the DC-10 at speeds over the 200 MPH limit since the boom is deployed?

This sounds like a bug to me. I would expect the landing gear and fuel boom to function entirely separately. I would recommend that you contact the aircraft developer and file a bug with them.
