select startup airport

Hi

In xp10, the last airport close to log off pos is choosen as startup airport for next program start.

Now, it takes 10minutes and more sometimes to load and startup x-plane (imo latest xp10 update ( 10.51?) is even slower than before) if you have some mesh and osm  - Only to get xplane up. Now I can select my new aiport which means that xp10 may have to destroy all loaded data and reload all new data if the new one is far enough away, what is usally the case. Again 10minutes or more...

Is there any way to preselect the startup airport and gate to avoid 10min and more unnessary load time? If not by GUI, maybe hacking a config file?

Sounds like you want to use the Quick Flight screen at launch. Go to File menu > Quick flight setup & check the box in the bottom right corner to "show window on every startup."
