Does any one know if the wind model in Plane matches that in appendix 4 of AC 120-28 D?

Looking to use Plane to assess instruments for approach and would like to know if the wind model matches either of those defined in appendix 4 of AC 120-28 D.

Even though I have flown airliners for 20 years, I have no idea what appendix 4 of AC 120-28 D is. Maybe I was sick on that day in flight-school?

The easiest way for you to obtain the answer would be to download the demo for X-Plane. It is free and certainly contains the same wind-model that the full version has. Then you can take a look to find out if its what you need.
